Broiler Research Facility

Controlled Environment

Two broiler sheds with 88 pens each, housing up to 1,300 birds per hall. Flexible trial durations from 1 to 6+ weeks ensure adaptability.

Water Treatment Options for Broiler Trials

In our broiler trials we can effectively incorporate water-based interventions through specially designed drinking-water pipelines. These systems allow precise administration of different additives at varying doses directly via the drinking water.

Such flexibility makes it possible to apply water treatments in both challenge trials and feeding trials, supporting accurate evaluation of product efficacy, dosage response, and growth performance under controlled conditions.

Feed Mill Capabilities

Our advanced feed mill significantly enhances our research capabilities by enabling precise and efficient feed formulation. Key features include:

• High-Precision Mixing: Achieving highly accurate mixing with a coefficient of variation (CV) ≤ 5%, even for additives at very low inclusion rates (≤ 50 g/ton).
• Cold Pelleting: Ensuring low thermal tolerance levels for products in the development phase, safeguarding the integrity of heat-sensitive additives.
• Comprehensive Analysis: Capable of performing proximate analysis and detailed assessments, including test product recovery in feed, to validate product performance.

Sampling and Analysis

• Optimized Sampling Procedures: Our in-house laboratory employs advanced protocols to minimize variation and ensure rapid preservation and fixation of samples, maintaining their integrity.
• Secure Long-Term Storage: Samples are securely stored under optimal conditions for up to two years, enabling reliable, long-term analysis and traceability.
