How does it work?
DistaMap™ determines the abundance of the seven most relevant bacterial taxa in the lower intestine, such as caecum, colon or feces. It can be used as an alternative method for sequencing studies delivering more actionable and quantitative results. You can deliver frozen samples or collect the samples using our BioFreeze™ kit.
What do we measure?
DistaMap™ quantitatively measures the absolute numbers and relationships between common bacteria present in the distal intestine. This provides a comprehensible overview of changes in microbiota without overflowing you with data (snapshot).
